This book is a synopsis of principles, cases, procedures, ethics, skills and law practice. Part A deals with all matters on Corporate Law Practice including simple-to-assimilate procedures under Companies and Allied Matters Act as well as Investment and Securities Act and other extant legal frameworks regulating corporate law practice and corporate governance in Nigeria. Part B simply presents Property and Conveyancing practices in Nigeria across various jurisdictions citing appropriately, the Land Use Act, 1978, Registration of Titles Law, Lagos State 2015, Conveyancing Act, 1881 and 1882, and Property and Conveyancing Laws of states in the old Western Region of Nigeria 1959 and Lagos State Mortgage and Property Law 2010. The principles of law dealing with different property transactions are concisely presented. Part C explores the provisions of Rules of Professional Conduct, 2007 on ethics of the legal profession. Its approach on legal skills is unique such that letter writing, counseling, interview, advocacy, law office management, drafting, ADR and so on are simply explained.
